How to play Perceptle
- Every day Perceptle gives everyone the same five tests, each scored out of 100.
- Count: dots flash for two seconds, then you type how many there were (always 45 to 85).
- Track: watch a ball fly; when it disappears, click where it will land.
- Angle: drag a handle to the angle you are asked for, measured counterclockwise from the dashed horizontal.
- Tempo: tap along with four beats, then keep the same pulse for eight more on your own.
- Split: mark the point a given fraction of the way along a line.
- On Fridays the tests get harder: drifting dots, a ricocheting ball, angles past a full turn and off-beat tapping.
Perceptle tips
- Count: do not count one by one — split the screen into four quarters, estimate one, and multiply.
- Track: keep watching the curve of the arc up to the moment the ball vanishes, then continue that curve in your head.
- Angle: 90° is straight up, so picture the right angle first and adjust from there.
- Tempo: the beat is always between 75 and 130 BPM; count it in your head during the four guided taps so you can keep it going alone.
- Split: find the halfway point first, then halve again for quarters and eighths.
