How to play Fridgle
“fridgle is a daily writing toy where you create poems using a random set of tiles.”
- Every day everyone gets the same set of word magnets, plus a few prefix, suffix and punctuation magnets.
- Tap magnets to place them in the poem area, and drag them to rearrange.
- Some magnets have other forms (love → loving, lover) — tap the arrow on the magnet to switch.
- The ↲ magnet starts a new line (up to two in a row); the gap magnet adds space on a line, and you can indent lines by dragging.
- Finalize when the poem feels right — there are no take-backsies. Past days are on the calendar, and other players' poems are on the world fridge.

Fridgle tips
- Start from the longest or strangest word and build the poem around it.
- Switch forms before you give up on a word: a verb that does not fit often works as -ing or as a noun.
- Short poems read better: three or four lines with one surprising image is plenty.
- Use prefix and suffix magnets (re-, -less) to invent words — Fridgle allows it.
